I'm using dbExpress component to conect to mysql database and whane i conect with any database i dont have any problems....... but whane i try to open any tables by any way i have this error message:
I recieved this error after installing Delphi 7.1 Enterprise Update. After searching solution in Internet a found this article http://www.talkaboutprogramming.com/group/comp.lang.pascal.delphi.databases/messages/87663.html
Then i copied dbexpmysql.dll and libmySQL.dll into Project folder and.... Miracle - all working again!!! :)

Had a similar problem. Replaced the libmysql.dll in the Windows\system32 directory with the one provided with MySQL. This fixed the problem
