Topic: Delphi and MySql

Hi.

I am using Delphi 7 and Mysql 4.1 server.

I have created a table with this 4 fields:

ID – int not null (primary key)
Morada1 – varchar(10)
Name – varchar(50)
Status – varchar(50)

When I make the conection with ado to my table I get this error:

adotTomadores: Type mismatch for field ‘Morada1’, expecting: String actual Memo.

What is my error?

Why when I add the field to my AdoTable, they come with the type memo?

Can you make the connection to MySQL from ADO??

Search for Zeos components or MyDAC.
